Discover how we combine tradition, innovation, and responsibility to craft timeless wallcoverings with care for both people and the planet.

Sustainable production

At Dutch Walltextile Co., we produce textile wallcoverings exclusively on demand. This means we only manufacture what our customers order, significantly reducing waste and minimizing leftover materials. By tailoring our production to actual demand, we ensure a more sustainable and responsible approach to craftsmanship. We carefully select our fabrics based on the highest quality standards. This not only minimizes imperfections but also guarantees exceptional durability, allowing our wallcoverings to stand the test of time. Our commitment to precision and excellence ensures that each piece we produce is both sustainable and built to last.

We exclusively use water-based adhesives, ensuring that no harmful chemicals are involved in our manufacturing. This commitment to clean production not only benefits the environment but also contributes to a healthier indoor climate.

Additionally, our entire production facility is powered by solar energy, with 100% of our electricity generated by solar panels on our factory’s rooftop. By harnessing renewable energy, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Carefully Selected & Tested Fabrics

The fabrics we use for our textile wallcovering collections are carefully selected and rigorously tested. We evaluate them on multiple aspects to ensure they meet our high standards for durability, performance, and suitability as wallcoverings. This meticulous process guarantees that our products not only enhance interiors with their beauty but also stand the test of time.

In addition to focusing on the highest fabric quality, we use the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) as our benchmark for recycled textiles. This ensures that the fabrics we select are post-consumer recycled under the right conditions and in an ethical manner. By adhering to this standard, we contribute to a more sustainable industry while maintaining our commitment to excellence and longevity in our wallcoverings.

Reducing Waste Through Sampling

At Dutch Walltextile Co., we strive to minimize waste at every stage of our production. If we do have leftover materials or returned rolls that are no longer usable due to transport damage, we repurpose them for sampling. These fabric samples are sent to professional clients for mood boards and presentations, ensuring that every piece still serves a purpose.

All our samples are handcrafted, carefully die-cut, and assembled entirely in our own factory. This in-house process allows us to maintain the highest quality standards, even in our sampling, while reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.

At Dutch Walltextile Co., sustainability is woven into everything we do. From producing on demand to minimize waste, to using only water-based adhesives and solar energy, we take every step to reduce our environmental impact. Our carefully selected fabrics meet the highest quality standards, and we prioritize recycled materials through the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Even unavoidable production waste is repurposed for high-quality samples, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.

By combining craftsmanship, innovation, and responsibility, we create premium textile wallcoverings that are both timeless and sustainable—for today and the future.
