Velvets
Velvet is a gorgeous fabric option for your walls. Its soft and plush texture, combined with its thick and lustrous material, creates a luxurious and sophisticated look. Velour is a variation of velvet, often being heavier and more flexible. Both materials are woven in the same manner, with only the finishing process differing.
While originally made from silk, velour is now commonly made with cotton or polyester. Our velour wallcovering is primarily made with polyester (PES), sometimes in combination with other materials. Production takes place mainly in Italy, where it has been produced for centuries.

Leather is an interesting material to use for wall covering. It has a unique texture and creates a special atmosphere wherever it’s used. Our leather wall coverings are 100 percent vegan and made of polyester or a combination of polyester, polyurethane, and cotton. They’re produced in an animal-friendly way, but still feel like real leather. In fact, they’re even better than the real thing because the artificial material allows for a wider range of sizes, whereas with real leather you’re limited to the width of the hide.

Strictly speaking, Jacquard is not a fabric, but it is a beautifully woven material nonetheless. It is characterized by its special Jacquard weave, which allows for different colors and patterns to be incorporated into the fabric, resulting in unique designs that make a statement in any interior. Jacquard can be produced using a variety of fabrics, including viscose, cotton, polyester, polyamide, and linen. Our Jacquard wallcovering offers a rich variety of bold and subtle styles and colors.

Dutch Walltextile Company works exclusively with the best materials. But before they can be used as fabric wallcovering, a detailed production process takes place at our factory in Amsterdam.
Here, we process raw materials into premium-quality wall textiles. We can even produce custom styles or fabrics outside our standard collections. Our wallcoverings are backed with non-woven material, making them easier to apply to the wall. On request, we also provide made-to-measure solutions.
Installing Our Wallcoverings
Installing fabric wallcovering requires more preparation and expertise than traditional wallpaper. This is due to the nature of the material. Fabric is more “alive,” making it trickier to apply. Errors or adhesive residues are harder to correct.
